I'm feeling so much!! Energy! Aliveness! Gratitude! Readiness! for tonight's class. And the slightest smidge of nerves too; after all, we're all human here.

Perhaps this might be a moment to pause & check in with how you're feeling about it? Excited? Nervous? Unsure? Ready? Resistant? Hopeful? Cautious? Open?

However you're arriving, know that all of it is welcome. And it's sooo so normal if you're feeling a bit wobbly leading up to this; anything new, unfamiliar and unknown is inherently uncomfortable.

Does it help to know there is no "right" way to be on this call? Nothing I need from you in this space? Does it help to know that however you're showing up is good & right? That there's nothing you need to "do" here? That there's nothing broken about you to begin with and thus nothing we have to "fix" in this space?

How to prepare:

  • Bring a notebook & pen/pencil 📓
  • Dress comfy and gather any resources/ support needed to feel as settled as is within capacity 🌸
  • Light a candle if you like. Fire is a transformative element 🔥
  • Know that you don't have to be on camera if you don't want to– let your body lead. And, if it feels alright, know that seeing each other can help us be with each other in a deeper way. You're invited to show up as fully as feels good & right for you 👁️
  • I'll do my best to save time for questions, so feel free to think about this ahead of time, or jot them down in the call to save them for the end 💬
  • Be sure to leave some room after the call for integration. Being that this is an evening class, it might be nice to come in your PJs, and afterwards perhaps make a tea, do some light movement, or wind down with an intentional bed-time routine. The best thing we can do to integrate is nothing at all 🫀
